Electrical engineering dept. was established 0n 2006 as a first core dept in UG level in historical Murshidabad dist. The pillar of the department is a good number of experienced faculty member & researchers and bright students. Some retired. Professors from J.U., C.U. are in academic advisory committee for the knowledge incensement of the student. A handsome no of students of1st pass out batch are placed in reputed private company. Most of the students are already placed in some private organization like L&T, Bridge &Roof during their final semester. The faculty members encourage the students to set up live project, energy auditing program.

To take a leading part for the service of the nation as equip engineer & responsible citizen.
